Founded on May 21st, 2010, with headquarters in Cross River State, Nigeria. With over two decades of community work experience, NCF operates across three Niger Delta States, Bauchi, Adamawa, and Ebonyi, impacting fishing settlements, slums, and local communities through targeted interventions.

Initially focused on broad community health and welfare, NCF has now sharpened its focus on addressing the challenges faced by women and girls. Our revised vision centers on social justice, equity, and empowering women and girls with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive.

At NCF, we are committed to empowering women and vulnerable individuals, striving for a future where every community is free from violence and poverty.

Our mission is clear: to support women and girls in achieving social justice, economic relevance, and leadership. Our goal is ambitious yet achievable—to improve the lives of women and girls by 50% through strategic initiatives that champion social justice and leadership.

Since our inception, NCF has pioneered numerous interventions, including combating Gender-Based Violence (GBV), supporting HIV&AIDS prevention, and addressing drug and substance abuse. Our work, in partnership with organizations like UNODC and CIND, has made a lasting impact on the communities we serve

We continue to operate a center for 4,685 orphans and vulnerable children and provide essential services to women living with HIV&AIDS, women with disabilities, and survivors of GBV. Our annual leadership mentoring walks and conferences, in collaboration with Vital Voices Global Partnership, empower women to transition from traditional roles to leadership positions.

Our focus has always been on improving lives, and as we move forward, our renewed dedication to women and girls will guide our efforts to create a more just and equitable society.
